AustinCats is a group of catamaran sailors located in Austin, Texas & nearby lakes.

We meet face-to-face on a monthly basis (typically, first Tuesday at Waterloo 360/2222), and we organize sailing events such as:

  • Our annual Hill Country Regatta on Lake Buchanan (April 18th 2026) 
  • “Hobie Day” for Big Brothers/Big Sisters first Saturday in August, and fun sail days for those new to sailing
  • Some of us also race our catamarans at regattas around TX & elsewhere.
